Lindsey Jacobellis in the Snowboard Cross.

She proved the old saying "It's not over 'til it's over" by showboating over the final jump of the Snowboard Cross when leading by a mile. She lost concentration, landed flat on her butt, and had to watch Tanja Frieden of Switzerland go steaming past to take the real Gold medal.

It has to be one of the funniest things I have seen in a long time.

Maybe she'll learn the lesson of humility in victory!

At least she got the silver medal

Hey she made a huge mistake, thought about covering it up, finally came clean.....and onward and upward she goes hopefully. I feel bad for her and her parents.....and I hope she learns an important life lesson by what happened. At least she got the silver.

Bode Miller on the other hand is a complete embarassment.....why did he even go to the Olympics if he was not going to take it seriously and really be in shape and try to compete.

I am an Olympic-loving fool. I've watched the summer and winter games ever since I can remember.

I have trouble feeling sorry for Jacobellis. And if my kids ever try to emulate Bode Miller, I'm afraid we are going to have some issues. I think I'll avoid Nike products for awhile. Anyone who thinks being a slacker is a virtue is someone who has problems. A lot of talent going to waste...
