  • Fenway Park Opening Day Tuesday, April 8th

Well, I am going. Anyone else going ? If so, I will be in Infield Granstand seats,
section 18. Anyway, look for me, I'll be the one wearing a B ballcap.

Oh, for my birthday, I am going to be in the Green Monster seats. That's the next day.

    I can die happy.

PM me if anyone from ForumsNation will be there.

Let's at least try to say hello. What seats are you ? You'll only be three sections away.

The Green Monster seats are my birthday gift - I turned down jewelry for this !

            Happy Birthday Beags!
I can't wait to take my daughter up for a game when she is older! She just turned nine today!
My first opening day was 8th grade with my best friend (maz). We cut school and sat in the bleachers! It was a blast...till we had to explain the sunburns heh heh.
            Have a blast!

The problem with real life is that there is no background music.

Let me know when you're coming. I can sometimes, not always, get tickets.
Thank you for the BD wish.

I can just imagine how it will feel up on the Green Monster Wednesday evening.
I'm dressing in layers AND bringing my fielder's mitt. Yes, I have one.

Okay, it was great, a tad cold, but great.

                    Highlights:

                    1. I got to meet Biskits ! A fine and dashing gentleman and fellow Red Sox Fan ! It was great !!

                    2. Redemption !!! Bill Buckner threw out the 1st pitch. The crowd gave a standing "O". Dwight, Dewey, Evans caught it.

                    3. The Air Force Fly-by done by the Green Mountain Boys Air National Guard, a class act and I ran into them as they came in around the bottom of the second.

                    4. The ring ceremony.

                    5. The unfurling of the 2007 Champion Banner

                    6. The hoisting of the 2007 Championship Flag.

                    7. Seeing the old Celts, Bruins and the new & old Patriots there.

                    8. Winning our home operner, 5-0

                    9. Big Papi's almost grand slam.

                    10. Dice-K's solid pitching.

I could go on, but it was wonderful.

Despite a respiratory illness, I will be back tomorrow night on the Green Monster. Look for me as I will be waving my pink fielder's mitt. Bright pink.
