Casino Drive was very impressive in the Peter Pan stakes early this month. He's bred for the distance and we all know how that mile and a half eats up champions. Otherwise we wouldn't be waiting 30 years for a triple crown champion. YouTube - Casino Drive - 2008 Peter Pan Stakes

It will be a fair challenge although CD has a week more time off than BB.

I may reverse your exacta. As a horse person I was truly blown away by Big Brown in that Preakness. That horse never even hit 3rd gear.

I would love to see Colonel John there. Great horse but did poorly at the Kentucky Derby.

I do not gamble on the ponies but I am cheering big brown on. Not sure if you heard but big browns owners offered to pay for a child's education from any winnings because the father was a policeman who just died in the line of duty.

I was at that race.
My vet for my show horse was one of the attendings for Ruffian.

Fitting that she is buried at the flag pole at Belmont Park. Her nose, of course, pointing forward towards the finish line.
