Curious as to why we are drafting before all of the Teams have made final cuts and additions. The previous 2 years we drafted the Tuesday before the first Thursday night game.

If someone drafts a player who gets cut, especially a potential starter, it doesn't seem there is an ability to replace that player with a comparable player.

I was out of town for a couple of weeks and didn't read this thread. So if I missed a vote or something, sorry. If not, could we reconsider drafting after the final cuts and add ons? I think the final cuts are 8/31.

I can draft any time. It does make sense to have it after final cuts but if there is a schedule problem for someone its not that big of a deal. With the larger number of teams its more possible that cut players would find their way on to a team or two.

There hasn't been many posts (just Mike, Lawren, and Len) about moving the draft date so maybe we better leave it as is. Some of the people might have rearrange their calendar to draft on the 27th. So we will be drafting on the 27th unless others want to chime in.


Next year I will make sure it is after the finial cut down date.

We do need a roll call.
