Do we Yanks have a chance this year? I think Tiger being out will be a positive for the US team. But the Euro team is very strong again this year, led by Sergio and Paddy. I'm expecting the outcome to be closer than it has in recent history.

I have been to the Cup three times; the Belfry (Sutton Coldfield, England) twice and the K Club (Ireland) in 2006 and have to say that the Euros really have their act together. We (USA) have great talent, but somehow our pairings, per the team captain, has missed the mark, JMHO. Remember Curtis Strange's captainship, some things he did I just didn't understand, but then again, I'm no PGA golfer either.
Anyway, I've loved being at them wearing my USA colors. I stood not too far from Tiger at the 5th hole at the K Club and way back in '93 was at the hole when Pavin eagled it.
GO USA !!!!!!!!!!!!

Frankly, with the exception of the Ryder Cup, I'd rather watch paint dry than watch a golf match.
I love going to the Ryder at the European venues as it's more fun for us.
The fact that there's no money prize, just the honor of winning for your country ,gives it a different spin.
The only problem that stands out was the US team's bad behavior at Kiaweh. Hopefully, that will never repeat.

Frankly I hope for a US win ...the last one was 2009 , and the competition need a win from both sides at regular intervals.
Anyway Faldo is a jerk .
Hey what might be if Tiger was playing ..
