    With A History Like This?

I think it is unfair to judge the fans of the TB Rays with a history like this. Why would you want to go to a game from 1998 to 2007 with yearly record like this?

    2008 AL East 97-65 (.599) 1
    2007 AL East 66-96 (.407) 5
    2006 AL East 61-101 (.377) 5
    2005 AL East 67-95 (.414) 5
    2004 AL East 70-91 (.435) 4
    2003 AL East 63-99 (.389) 5
    2002 AL East 55-106 (.342) 5
    2001 AL East 62-100 (.383) 5
    2000 AL East 69-92 (.429) 5
    1999 AL East 69-93 (.426) 5
    1998 AL East 63-99 (.389) 5

    Time will tell.

It was a Great Game and a GreatSeries. I really Congratulate the Rays ~ they went from worst to first ~ and really deserve this. May they go all the way!!

        Yes.....Way to go Rays.

Now I can just sit back and enjoy the World Series as I really don't care who wins although I am rooting for the American League and the Rays because of Joe Maddon and Troy Percival former Angels World Champions.

All I wanted when the Angels got ripped again by the Red Sox was for the Red Sox and Dodgers to lose the LCS.

Congrats to the Red Sox on a great season even with the injuries and the turmoil...you guys almost pulled it off again....wow. I did not even dare say anything earlier in order to not jinx the Rays just like Cleveland.

        Who will get?

        Manny
        Tex
        CC
        K-Rod

We were at several games this summer...never full, and we got our choice of tickets, a very different experience from Fenway! I bet next summer will be different...

I saw a hilarious quote in a Bill Simmons article effectively stating that Red Sox fans should not lament because their team just got beat by the Red Sox 2010 roster, and that they should just consider the ALCS "an advanced scouting mission".

Good one...and I truly wouldn't mind seeing a few of those players in Red Sox colors

It's a tie between Big Papi & Yaz, but I've loved them all ~

OK, its been a week and I guess I can finally deal with the fact that the Sox are not playing Philly tonight....

I had to watch them lose to the Rays last Sunday in Redondo Beach, Ca....

What a way to ruin what up to then was a wonderful vacation in Palm Springs and LA...
