I am a rabid Laker fan. I've been mostly posting on the sports boards where there are fantastic discussion threads going on in the Kobe, Le Bron saga.

As far as I'm concerned, the season is already made with the Celtics losing to Orlando. I hate the Celtics.

I like and respect Le Bron James, but he is getting way too much hype for someone who hasn't won anything. In the Olympics, the stars were Dwade and the Black Mamba. Le Brick was nowhere to be found. Just like last night. Boy, did he did brick a lot of shots.
LeBron is undoubtably one of the premier players in the league but I believe Kobe Bryant is a more valuable player as there is no doubt that Kobe is the team leader. I am glad to have found another Lakers fan.

This a great playoffs because you have the 4 best teams and the games have been very close. By the way, I feel exactly the same way about the Celtics.

Le Bron James has the potential of becoming the best player ever in the NBA. He needs to win 6 or 7 championships first, though.

Until his career is over or until he is traded to the Lakers, I'm not rooting for him to win.

I'd like to see Kobe Bryant and Le Bron James agree to accept 1/2 of their salary and play together in LA. That would ensure another 5-7 championships in the next decade. Not sure how they would find any other way to win that many championships. And, if they did it, they would make up for the lost income with endorsements anyway.

Its has been raining in Orlando the last couple of days. Cancelling many out door events. I guess after last night the Cleveland Cavaliers wish someone could have cancel last night game because of the rain.

The only interest I have in the NBA playoffs is that I know when they are over it will only be about 60 +/- days till the NFL starts playing again!

Hi, you do know the 1st ad on this thread is NBA's ad.

All 4 teams are amazing this year. But look like unless some unfortunately event happen, the Cavalier will become team to be beated sooner than later.

I'm not so sure about that. Orlando seems to have Cleveland's number. They are a single shot away from being up 3-0. If they win game 4 at home, it's going to be tough for the Cavs to win with or without Le Bron.

I thought he was trying to say that the Cavaliers would be beaten. In any event, I think Orlando will win but anything can happen as game 2 proved.

Just not a big fan this year. Too much ESPN hype on trivial matters. I didn't watch one minute of the Lakers/Rockets this year.

I believe at the start of the season, people does not think Cavaliers will be in the final anyway. I believe it is said they seems to lack enough supporting cast.

And after 3 games, if the supporting cast does not disappear in the middle of the game, who know what kind of series we will have.

I don't have any team to root for in this series, so does not matter which one win or loss. But the way I see is if one team can create match up issue in two position to another team, then the other team will have issue

However, it is not easy to get right combination of supporting cast anyway. But if based on this year, you will have to assume even if they can not find the right combination, that team will be in the final competition or in conference final year in year out. How many times they can get the ring will be another story.

Is the dream match-up NBA final between LA & Cleveland over?. Wow !!! The tv rating will suffer against this year.

The only reason I'm watching is hoping that Kobe loses. As a Philadelphian I have irrational hate for him. These are the best playoff in a long time.

And no not all NBA players are thugs. Why do people think this?

Also the ratings are the highest ever. So people are definitely watching this

No on both counts. The Nuggets and Lakers are tied 2-2 and the Lakers have home court advantage. The odds still favor the Lakers but they will have to play a lot better than last night. If the Cavaliers win tonight then they will also be tied 2-2 with home court advantage. They will be in serious trouble if they lose. The winner still has to win 4 games so anything can happen. The TV ratings will be high regardless of which teams are in the finals.

I am rooting for the Lakers as always. Just not talking about it much. This team has much to prove after last years finals.....the Lakers had it and blew it. Not enough heart and have also shown this year is the same....if all the Lakers had the heart of Kobe then it would be a blow out and Lakers all the way.

It was nice to see the Celtics lose....but I love the Lakers more than I hate the Celtics.

I think that the Lakers have a better chance of beating the Cavs in finals than the magic.

                              Go Lakers.

Why stop at the NHL?? IMHO, professional sports, in general, is a total waste of time and money.

In my whole life, I've only paid to go to one baseball game and the only reason was because a group of people, who were in town for a reunion, decided to go to the game so I tagged along. I doubt we, as a group, watched more than an innings worth of the game. Most of the time was spent visiting and catching up on each others lives.

But hey, to each his own...as my dear departed father would say, "It would be a dull world if we all owned chevrolets."
