At 3:00 today, one of my receivers, Steve Breaston of Arizona was declared inactive for the 4:00 game. Could I have replaced him at that time or was I just out of luck since rosters are frozen 5 minutes before the first game?"A man that doesn't spend time with his family, can never be a real man" The Godfather

Draft:
• Live Draft, 9/8/09 06:30 pm ET.
• 16 Rounds, with 90 seconds between picks.
• Draft robot enabled - picks are made automatically for teams that let the clock expire.
Player Pool: AFC and NFC Players.
Positions: QB, RB, WR, TE, WR-TE, K and DST.
Transactions:
• Lineup deadline is 5 minutes before gametime for each player.
• Owners may set lineups.
• Transactions will lock five minutes before the first game on Sunday. Players whose teams play before Sunday will be locked for the remainder of the scoring period.
• Add/drops are handled by a waivers process.
• The waivers process runs on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
• The waiver order resets after each weeks' games.
• Dropped players remain on waivers for at least 2 day(s).
• Trades must be approved by the commissioner.
• No trades can be made after the trade deadline of 11:59 pm et 12/14/09.
(click here to set a reminder)
• Owners may not make trades during the offseason.
The waivers will not open until after week 1's games on Wednesday morning. There are two key points in the waiver process - first, Wednesday morning is when all the free agents from the previous week can be picked up (a free agent is any player that is currently not on another team's roster); second, is two days after a player is dropped, that dropped player can be picked up by any another team.
You need to add and drop players before the Waiver Process begins in order to get your first choice. (If your first choice is still available) It is best to make several choices of players to add with the same player being dropped. Then you will usually get the highest ranked player on your list that is still available. Any adds or drops after your player is dropped will not be made since your player is now not available to drop since you no longer have that player. The first Owner on the Wavier List has first chance to get the dropped player after he becomes a free agent. The waiver order will change when a transaction is made. You can queue transactions and players are awarded based on the waiver order

Waivers begin tonight at 2am (early Wednesday morning). That means you have to have your adds/drops queued in and ready to go.
There was an email sent out earlier from Mike, that stated that waivers begin on Thursday morning. It appears from the web site that it's actually Wednesday morning.
Sorry, if this has already been discussed and/or cleared up. But, either way it may pay off to place your adds/drops tonight.
