I think we may be going down a slippery slope here. Perhaps we should all just be responsible for our own teams. If you can't get to a computer you are either out of luck or you can make arrangements with a friend to take care of it for you. I don't think the league should be responsible for this anymore.

I would say as the commissioner I abused the control a commissioner has by making changes to an owner’s team without being asked. I am afraid I opened a can of worms when I set Beag’s lineup. It is something I really wish I hadn’t done. I interfered once and I don’t think I should do it again unless it is a real emergency. To me an emergency means 1 of 2 things has happened. First someone is having a major medical problem or a few minutes before the games start someone’s computer goes down or they lose their Internet connection. I don’t want to be making any changes when other arrangements can be made before hand. I am a friend of all the people in this league but also the commissioner and I think the commissioner hat comes first. I will under no circumstance make any changes after the games have started for the week.
As I said in the beginning I really wish I hadn't made any changes to Beag’s lineup (big mistake on my part). Please ask family members or friends first to make lineup changes for you due to any medical emergencies or if you are having last minutes technology problems. I ask my friends in this league please don’t ask me to make any changes unless it is a real emergency and you have exhausted all other options.
Frank, we are friends but can you have Sal or Jimmy make your changes?

Please no angst!
This is a "fun" league and yes you went above and beyond here because there were no options within the ine up. I don't hold it against you and I certainly hope no one else does either.
Thank you for even spending the time to do this for us.

authorization for substitutions for Frank by Mike
To let someone make substitutions for Frank or not to let someone make substitutions for Frank, that is the question?
Hmmm, simple question with no simple answer.
I wanted to just enjoy the fun of the fantasy football, but everytime I play my friend, there seems to have to be a bet
So the question is ,should I be a nice guy and allow it, or not such a nice guy and win the bet, again simple questions with difficult answers
Let me think about, look at it from different angles, and get back to you later

In Case You Missed This Post
Hi Mike,
I posted this Quote from my post to you, in case you missed my answer to your question.
"Walt are you up for a little wager this week? Even up no points??"

So what do you want to wager?
I hope I haven't used up my luck for this week. Last night about 11:30 pm I got a call from my 22 year grandson who is living at our house. There was a wind storm in Brookfield last night, and a 80 foot tall ash tree fell on our house above my grandson's bedroom. I saw some emailed picture of the tree on our house and I can not believe that the roof was strong enough to hold back the tree from going right through the roof and through the 2nd floor. Thank God that did not happen with my grandson sleeping in the bedroom. There is some roof damage but it appears to be minor.
But, they did have to bring in a crane to remove the tree from the roof.
By the way, Brett played the best game I saw him play in several years. Of course, you would think that the Packer's coaches would know by now, that you need to put pressure on Brett if you don't want him to beat you.

We will have another shot at the Vikes at home in a few weeks. I want the Packers to win but I still wish Brett good luck.
A wager... here are a few suggestions
- a $20.00 gift certificate to the Packer Pro, Shop
- a bottle of wine shipped
- gift certificates for a couple happy meals (for grand children or great grandchildren if junk food is ok)
- find a half way point between Brookfield and Janesville and the loser buys lunch
- the winner picks a profile picture for the loser...pic has to stay up for a month....give or take
- a DQ gift certificate...again if you have little ones in the family
- a apple pie from the Elegant Farmer shipped
Add any suggestions you have.
Sorry to hear about the tree. It was great no one got hurt.

How About 1 and 4
Hi Mike,
How about a $20 gift certificate to the Packer Pro, Shop and meeting for lunch. Is Madison half way?
I agree that it is great that Brett is not going out like Johnny Unitas did. But I'm still a Packer Fan first.
