I'm not sure who I feel more sorry for - Tom Watson in coming so close to breaking umpteen records, or Stewart Cink who will forever be remembered as the man who 'robbed' Tom Watson of his victory.

Yes, it would have been tough to have been Stewart Cink going into the playoff, knowing that if he loses he may have blown his only chance at a major, yet if he wins, he ruins a great story.
Even though he came up short, I was impressed with Watson's play yesterday. Even the 8-iron that went long of the green on the 72nd hole was right over the flag. If that green would have held that shot, Watson would have his 6th Open title.
