I'm kind of excited about this game after their performance in the Confederations Cup. US Soccer is finally starting to look like a legitimate competitor!

DC United didn't fare so well against Real Madrid in DC last weekend but the stadium was full.
Yeah, I was hoping to make it to a few of those games, but the timing didn't quite work out. They're always pretty entertaining, but the US club teams just can't quite hang with the European ones!
I watched it on Telemundo. That's always fun because the announcers shout "Goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooal! " after every goal.
Tough loss today, but not surprising. The team's composure really broke down in the second half.
The US team's overall skill level is definitely coming up to world standards over time, but they just can't seem to keep it together for a full 90 minutes.
Today was particularly frustrating because we (the USA) demonstrably have a superior team. We have superior players and have been playing better than Mexico. If we weren't going to win there this year, when will we?
The USA is pretty solidly a top-15 world team. Breaking into the top 10 on a consistent basis is a big leap, and it'll be interesting to watch them as they assay it.
