  • Derek Jeter Honored For Having Fewer Hits Than Harold Baines

I think this is funny. The whole Jeter thing is just more NY media fawning over Jeter. Holding the Yankee hits record isn't a very big deal, yet you would almost think it was one of most spectacular accomplishments in the history of baseball.

(And I know Harold Baines wasn't a journeyman and had a Hall of Fame worthy career. That's part of the humor of the article.)
“Maybe you shouldn't dress like that.”

“This is a blouse and skirt. I don't know what you're talking about.”

    “You shouldn't wear that body.”

    That is pretty funny.

You would think that the NY Yankees with their 26 World Series wins out of 39 appearances would have at least one person in the 3000 hit club. I think that's the item that's the most surprising.

Harold Bains was awesome.......if he played for the NYY. Give the man his due.
