In seven game playoffs they normally have 2 games in the city of the team with the best record, then 2 in the other city, then switch, to one , one & one. They also have a day off with each city switch.
OR they have 2 games in the first city, 3 in the next, then the last 2 back in the first city. Again with days off with each city switch.
Why did baseball not do that this year? They did the 2,3, 2 arrangement but did the days off like it was a 2,2,1,1,1 arrangement. Why was there a day off between games 4 & 5?
Did they just want to push the play-offs so late into Oct, that they could be sure that bad weather would be a problem?
