Can you take a backpack in Disney and Universal? Can you take drinks - water and/or soda and/snacks?

  • #2
Backpacks will be searched and I am pretty sure you can bring water into Disney. You cannot bring anything else in, but they have lockers outside of the park that you can store you food/drinks in.

You can stuff your pockets, socks, bra, whatever with stuff and move it to your backpack once you are inside. For example, a guest recently entered WDW with a loaded gun in his back pocket. It wasn't noticed until it fell out of his pocket on a ride and another guest found it. That is for Disney. Meanwhile, I've been quizzed about stuff like tampons and advil in my purse.

I don't know about Universal parks, but I would expect it to be similar.
