Here are 8 highlights
1. The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
When Disney finishes building this coaster, the New Fantasyland is done (at least, for now).
2. New Parade
New Fantasyland also inspires a new daytime parade, the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade, scheduled to march into Magic Kingdom in spring 2014.
3. Morocco Pavilion's Spice Road Table
Guests can soon chow down at a brand new restaurant at Epcot. Opening early this year inside the Morocco Pavilion is Spice Road Table.
4. Downtown Disney Turning Into Disney Springs
While Downtown Disney in 2014 continues its multi-year transformation into Disney Springs, there are exciting changes guests can experience now.
With a planned completion in 2016, Disney Springs expects to double the number of venues, to more than 150.
5. New Luxury Resort
Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts plans a 2014 opening for a luxury resort hotel at Walt Disney World Resort.
6. Soccer Stars Move In
As anticipation for the 2014 World Cup builds around the world, soccer fans vacationing at Walt Disney World Resort will be treated to more professional soccer options at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in 2014.
7. New Road Races
runDisney is expanding two of its most popular race weekends in 2014.

Disney World Parking
Parking your vehicle at Disney World:
The daily parking charges for various vehicles are:
•Car - Taxi - Shuttle - Limo - Motorcycle $15
Annual Passholders may also park at the theme parks during regular park hours free of charge. Have your pass & photo ID ready when you approach the toll plaza.
If you are staying at a Disney resort, at check-in, you'll be given a parking pass to put on your dashboard. This pass identifies you as a Disney resort guest, and helps you gain easier access to other Disney resorts as well as granting you free parking at the four major theme parks.
Guests of the Swan and Dolphin hotels also park without charge at the theme parks. Swan and Dolphin guests will not receive a parking pass. Instead, showing a room key to the Cast Member at the parking tollbooths will allow free parking.
Non-Disney resort guests, or those staying off Disney property (with the exception of the above-mentioned passholders and program members) will be charged to park a vehicle at the four major theme parks.
Guests need only pay for parking once per day and can move from park to park that day without paying again. Show the parking receipt received at the first park to the Cast Member at the next park's tollbooths to enter the parking lot without paying an additional charge.
Parking at Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon, Winter-Summerland Mini-Golf, Fantasia Gardens Mini-Golf, Fort Wilderness, Wide World of Sports and self-parking at Downtown Disney/Disney Springs is free to all guests, including those staying off property.
Self-parking for use of the entertainment and dining facilities at the Boardwalk's entertainment area is also free.
Self parking at the Disney resorts is free to all guests;
some resorts have seasonal parking restrictions.
You must show a photo ID when entering any Disney resort. Some Disney resorts may also ask for a Dining Reservation number from guests who are dining at the resort before allowing access to the resort parking lot.
The Swan and Dolphin self parking rate is
$15 per day (plus tax) and Valet is $23 per day (plus tax).
Valet parking is free of charge to all vehicles displaying a disabilties tag at Disney facilities offering valet service.
Valet parking is available at The Grand Floridian, Polynesian, Contemporary, Yacht Club, Beach Club, Boardwalk, Wilderness Lodge and Animal Kingdom Lodge resorts. The valet parking fee at Walt Disney World resort hotels is $15. Once paid, however, you can use valet parking for the entire day at any resort that offers it without paying the fee again - show the day's valet receipt at the next resort to avoid being charged again.
Valet parking at the Swan and Dolphin hotels is $23 + tax. If you are dining at one of the signature restaurants at the Swan and Dolphin request a validation from the hostess stand.
Parking at any of the resorts to gain access

It's a big deal for people who used to pull the paper Fastpasses all day. Some of my kids used to do that for Toy Story Mania as well, but none of them cared when I told them they'd be limited to 3 FPs a day, with no repeats.
I think it will ultimately benefit first timers and the average WDW guest. It's a huge adjustment for some old timers, though.Comment
