    Pirates of the Caribbean

Captain Jack Sparrow Joins the Audio-Animatronics
Crew of Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean Attraction

Went to Magic Kingdom the other night & rode
Disney`s - New "Pirates of the Caribbean" Ride

Looks alot like the old ride with some extra features
The first time - they had a 20 minute wait
The second time - the wait was 30 minutes

We went to Pecos Bills in Adventure Land for a Snack
Afterwards we went in to see the Country Bear Show

I love the Pirate's ride. Never had a wait, though. Guess the movie is doing some good.

We really enjoyed the new POC ride at Disneyland CA. They didn't change too much which is what we were afraid of since it is a classic. My kids have seen the first movie so it helped them relate and enjoy the ride even more.

Disney has also added some other features near the ride like a stage outside where Jack Sparrow and other pirates perform live and then pose for pictures with guests...this was a good move IMHO.

The lines were reasonable mid-week and longer weekends and holidays...as usual. We have annual passes so we normally wait until the lines are short.

Here is a Podcast video of the new ride...it is actually a pretty good video considering the darkness.

That's amazing. Do they have "It's a small world too"? Is that still the same, John?

We only recently got annual passes (again) so we only saw the holiday version of It's a small world. As far as I know it looked like the previous version I saw a couple years ago.

I also love this ride. It's a classic...glad they are keeping it around and adding a few new touches.

We went in January, my kids 7&10 really enjoyed seeing Captain Jack. It looked like he had been a part of the ride all along, from what I remember when I went years ago on the POC. Fun times.
