(I had posted this in the regional area for OH but just incase anyone looked for info on Cedar POint in this forum specifically, I thought I'd post it here too.)
Since this information has not been given out here I thought I'd share how we got some dsicounts for tickets to the cedar Point Amusement Park.
The only ones we found were available right in the Cedar Point/Sandusky area - ours was a spur of the moment visit in July of this year. We found the Sandusky/Erie County Visitors Center website http://www.GoCoastOhio.com and actually drove to it's office and got $7 off the adult admission for each of us. In town they have a big discount store chain that offered a deal but it is the same as this place. The staff there was great and had loads of brochures with discounts, including for the MANY hotels/resorts (though not TS) in the area.
But if you have time, request their great brochures and plan ahead. Their phone number is 1-800-255-ERIE(3743). We stayed one day but it definitely needs more days to get your fill!
Be glad to help if you have more questions.
