You could always stay at Hershey, PA and go to Hershey Park. They spent millions renovating and creating a water park inside the amusement park. The lines get amazingly long, though. If you stay here then you can hit Allentown for Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom within an hours (plus or minus 15 minutes) drive!

On top of that, Odyssey Dells is actually connected by a skywalk to Mt Olympus Water and Theme park, we just got back from there. The room comes with 4 wristbands which give you access to that park for the duration of your stay! The whole family had a blast, we spent 4 full days at that park alone.
We went to Mt. Olympus a couple of years ago. But what we remember isn't the water park...it's that roller coaster that goes UNDERGROUND!

      Hades

Hades, voted "Best New Ride" by Amusement Today in 2005, is a record-breaking extreme wooden roller coaster with a 65-degree drop, the world’s longest underground tunnel and the rush of reaching speeds up to 70 mph. Hang on for dear life as you scale the 160' heights of Hades, then scream all the way to the bottom of the first 140' drop, make a 90 degree turn underground in complete darkness, blast out of the ground, just to dip and spin around to do it all over again. HADES, the master of the UNDERWORLD will give you an experience you won't soon forget!

Single Riders only: 48" or taller (122cm)
      Height - 160' First Drop - 140' Length - 4725'
      Top Speed - 70 MPH
They're right it's an experience you won't soon forget! My poor DH still gets a little trembly just thinking about it. (Can you tell I was the big chicken who didn't go?)

That is a great wooden coaster. I bet I rode it 10 times, very front, and very back. Great one!

While we are talking about Water Parks, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the past two decades reports seeing an increase in the number of Recreational Water Illness (RWI) outbreaks associated with swimming pools, water parks, hot tubs, lakes, and rivers. The CDC's Healthy Swimming program offers information and resources to raise awareness about RWIs and how to prevent them by practicing "Healthy Swimming" behaviors.
