Which one is that?
The scariest is the one that hangs you over the side..
its the best if you sit in the front.
A while back it got stuck hanging over the side and people were in it for hours..
Insanity-The Ride consists of an arm that extends out 64 feet over the edge of the Tower and will spin passengers at up to three 'G's.' As the ride spins faster and faster, the riders are propelled up to an angle of 70 degrees. Riders will experience the thrill of being flung over the edge of the Tower and literally facing downward at the City of Las Vegas below. The ride is programmable with various ride options. An unobstructed view of historic downtown Las Vegas rewards those riders brave enough to experience three 'G's' at a height of more than 900 feet.
Two employees of mine went to experience this ride while we were at a recent convention (CES) in Vegas. The ride was relatively new at the time and was being greatly hyped. Both these guys are rideaholics and pride themselves in being fearless to ride all types of coasters, etc.
Both made the trip to the top of the Strat but one chickened out at the entrance to the ride. I've never know this guy to have any fear of anything before this! The guy that rode the ride has nothing but great things to say about the experience, but would NOT go on the ride again!!
Nope...never have, never will ...What about FERN????
..... but there is a long line of people who want to take the ride. When we were there the first time, it was canceled because of the high winds. The view is spectacular from the top. We went outside too but it was too windy to take photos and you had to hang on or you would fly away. Inside, we felt the tower sway.
That's a great picture, thanks. I can't imagine that I will ever be taking this ride and it's even been awhile since I've been to the top of the tower.l
My husband rode all of them! He said the scariest one is the one that is a short track that you are thrust out over the edge on, (at very high speed), just coming to a stop "in the nick of time".
When you think it is over.....the arm drops down and you are looking at the ground. My husband and the guy who rode next to him thought it broke when it dropped. It scared both of them enough that they both swore never to ride it again.
My husband took our 7 year old daughter on the Stratosphere roller coaster. I was totally freaked out, she came off of it crying and then begging to go on it again. (My heart couldn' t take it so we left without either of them going on it again.)
