Has anyone been to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party? If so, what did you think?

My family went to MVMCP a few years ago when the kids were younger. We had a lot of fun!

We got to WDW nearly every December, and have gone to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party several times. We really enjoy it. There aren't too many people in the park during the event, so most rides are fairly easy to get onto. They limit the number of tickets sold to keep this the case, although it's even nicer to go on some of the less-popular dates when they haven't sold all the tickets allowed. During the party is when we tend to do most of our rides in MK. There are some extra parades and fireworks, but we would sometimes skip these for even shorter ride lines. The treats are pretty good, the "snow" on Main Street is fun. We aren't going at this point as we have children who are too young to stay up that late now, but previously it's been great.

I should warn you that if you go, don't go to Magic Kingdom too soon before the party starts because it tends to be really crowded with the regular parkgoers and the folks coming just for the party. Of course, if you're trying to get some extra time in one of the parks without having to have a regular ticket, this is a nice way to get a few hours of regular park time. Just know that it will be fairly crowded.
