The link above is for a Central Florida charity that primarily operates a safe house and provides legal and social assistance to victims. Like many charities, the economy has been extremely hard on them financially this past year.
One of my employees volunteers at the Central Florida Dream Home, and some of the stories she shares are just absolutely heartbreaking (especially to the father of two young girls!)..
As we get into the tax season- many of us may find the opportunity to make a cash donation.
