Most other timeshare relief and timeshare donation companies charge thousands.
Sounds like it's cheaper to keep 'er.

I would rather pay the less than $100 Interval Exchange fee and the around $600 maintenance and tax for my every other year TS than pay to give it to charity. I may end up using it in the next 2 years anyway. I didn't use it in the last two years, but I do have an extra year deposited.

If anyone finds a reputible charity that will take these (no mortgages, fees current) please let me know!

I am checking out these posts and they seem pretty old. A lot of changes have been made to the industry do to scams that are out there. My buddy went to one of those transfer companies and yes they charged a fee but he was able to get rid of his 3 maintenance fees which was over $2000. Now he doesn't have that stress anymore. The monkey is off his back.

Spence I responded to another post on here you have too many paranoid people here. Because they got ripped off. They are the idiots . If I was your real estate agent would you pay me my commissions before I sold your property? If you did how hard would I work to get rid if it for you? If you did you deserve to get ripped off. So everyone here that has allowed that to happen you can't blame no one else but themselves for what happened to them. All I did was reply to a damn post and I am getting all this gripe. You are all losers and paranoid. Watch out everyone the boogie man will get ya. Hehe you guys are a joke.

However, I am so happy to be rid of the timeshare even if I can't take a deduction I am very happy. I promised myself if I was successful I would "pay it forward". So, if you are thinking about donating I am more than happy to talk to you about my experience.
What information can you provide? Thanks!
