    Thanks everyone!
I was thinking, too, whether you merely wanted to bring or if you were trying to make a good impression as well. How I felt about that question would guide me as to how much I effort I put into selecting wines and how much money I was willing to spend.
“Maybe you shouldn't dress like that.”

“This is a blouse and skirt. I don't know what you're talking about.”

    “You shouldn't wear that body.”

Hi everyone. Today is the party and I'm off to the liquor store with your suggestions.

One more question...does the type of store you visit affect the type of wines that are available? We have 'package store' nearby but also have an upscale grocery store a bit farther away which has a wine branch:

Ancona’s Wines & Liquors | Buy wine, liquor and beer online |Fairfied County, Connecticut Wine Store

Does that mean that the same thing will just be more expensive? Or do they generally have other selections?

      Thanks...

I don't know what to expect from the "packy," as those are generally state controlled and we don't have them here.

The price for the Schramsberg sparkling on the Ancona website is the same as we pay at Columbus Wines and Liquors, if that's any help. The selection seems ok, depending on your price point.
