Yesterday I visited three CT Wineries for wine tastings. How many of you enjoy doing this too?? Went to Jerram Winery in New Hartford-the gentlemen was very informative, then went to The Land of Nod in East Cannon. It was my first time there found three wines I enjoyed. The last winery was The Connecticut Valley Winery- my second time there-bought a glass of wine, sat and relaxed on a beautiful day. This is a fun activity that I found last year. Did the CT Wine Trail last year and now I am awaiting the start of the 2012 CT Wine Trail which begins in May.

Two weeks ago I visited some wineries in Long Island-lovely. I took the ferry over from CT.

We did one in CT. I forget the name but I still have glasses from them I will post where as soon as I find the glasses. BTW I love going to the LI wineries I have been to about 80% of them. There are also a few in NJ and many right out side AC NJ. We stop there when we have our Charity bus trip every year which one was yesterday that I missed.

Supporting the local wine farms is good too. LI wineries has very different wines then CT. Because I enjoyed the LI wineries and there are so many to visit, I will be going back soon.

Of course I will do the CT 2012 Wine Trail as well. It is a nice activity for the weekends.

When in Lake George we went to one, in Newport we stopped at one, even when I went to Florida I went to a couple. Travel and find the wineries.
