We just got back from visiting my son and his family for 5 days in Sacramento and 2 days in Napa Valley. We took tours at the following 2 wineries.
The wine was very good to excellent. The tours, while not cheap, were well worth the fee. Samples included a 1997 J. Schram Late Disgorged , 150th Anniversary $200.00 a bottle sample. Read the stories of both wineries. Very interest stories.

http://www.castellodiamorosa.com/ Awesome Castle.
"My initial intent was to build an 8,500 square-foot building without cellars. (Gradually it morphed into 121,000 square feet with 107 rooms with four separate levels underground and four levels above!" Dario Sattui
We also did wine tasting at,

And we had to go to this winery. Right Big Frank?

You can only get the wine at Castello Di Amorosa and V.Sattui in Napa Valley or by being a member of their wine clubs. I think the wine is very good and my wife and I are members of their wine clubs.
Do you have any other interesting Wineries on your list?
