  • Cheapskate Wednesday--winestilsoldout

Good morning everyone! Has anyone taken advantage yet of Cheapskate Wednesday at winestilsoldout.com? I actually forgot about it until I got to my desk this morning............

I would love to hear people's opinions whenever they see a good or bad wine, please. I've got a very small stash of whites so am definitely looking for some whites.......and wouldn't mind a couple of new reds.

    Happy shopping

You missed a nice Tocai last night before the event started. Look for the thread in this forum.

      Shoot!

That sounds about right.......day late, dollar short! I'm afraid when that fun was going on last night I was at an animal shelter and then went right to son's hockey practice and didn't get home until 11:15

They may put some more up later. Though if I recall correctly it sold out and they put up something else afterwards. But don't fret, they'll be something else for you today!

Chardonnay up now for $6.99. I don't know anything about it, though, my chardonnay tastes lean toward oakier wines.

The Chardonney is gone. Now it's a Chianti that sounds good. Any takers?

I agree it sounds good; I'm not a big chianti drinker. It's also only 25% off...

I ordered 4 bottles. I LOVE chianti. Plus, it was a whole lot less than the $49.99/bottle that was up a few days ago.

The 6.99 Montepulciano up now sounds good. I generally like them, but never tried one so inexpensive...

                  eta: it was gone fast!

I know you like those.. but this one is 2006 and from Oregon... is Pinot Noir usually good that young?

I'd pass. If it was a California Pinot and not so young I might try it. Frank knows a lot about Italian wines.

eta: I found a review of the 2003 that was decent, not raving, with a suggested price of $14. And the stuff is still sitting there, so others would seem to agree
