"Good deep red. Sexy nose offers cherry, leather and rose petal, plus a whiff of game. Sweet, lush and silky, with good life to the raspberry and animal flavors. Nicely plump but with no shortage of energy for the year. Finishes with substantial dusty, broad tannins."

that's too much of a splurge even for me, especially on the heels of the "quantity over quality" number I did on Wednesday.

Let us know how you like it

Well I thought something was up with that price. I would only spend that kind of money on an Opus, Caymus, Cain 5 older years and of coarse Brunello's and Tigenello, Speaking of Tigenelo. Stock up on 2004 while you can still get it for about $85, 2004 was there best year and it was rated 4th best wine in 2007.

I long for the days when i paid $19 for 1988 Cos E'stournal. Paid $68 for 1990Haut Brion. The big boys of Bordeaux are out of my league now. Thank god for Gaudo al Tasso.
