Hello all winos,
I'm new to the wine area on this site so my comments may have been already mentioned. If you saw the movie Sideways he complians about how much he loves Pinot Noir and hates Merlot. The wine he cherishes is Cheval Blanc, mostly Merlot, lol. Someone screwed that. He should have had a Romanee Conti, not Cheval Blanc.

Pinots, I will never understand the love of pinots....can't stand them. I'm more of a petite sirah/zippin zin kind of gal. A rocking good merlot with a juicy steak isn't so bad either, but the petites have my heart.

Bogle makes a great petit sirah and so cheap, love it. It's amazing how many great inexpensive wines there are in the last 10 years. I remember how few there were before. Thank god for Australia and Chile.
