To our members and friends:
Tre Bicchieri (The 3 glass award) is the highest honor given by the Italians to an Italian wine maker and winery. There are not many wines that make this list. We have searched high and low for over six months to put together 48 award winning wines to be put into the TRE BICCHIERI MARATHON.
For our newer members, this is the way our marathons work; TRE BICCHIERI THURSDAY is a marathon event. You will receive only one e mail at midnight (11.59 PM Wednesday) The event will start at midnight Eastern Standard Time. Starting at 12:01 AM, there will be a new wine presented on the site every 30 minutes or until sold out, lasting until 11:59 PM.
The wines will have a picture of the label, a very good description, and any additional ratings found. REMEMBER, THE WINE MUST HAVE WON THE TRE BICCHIERI AWARD FOR THAT SPECIFIC VINTAGE OR WE WOULD NOT PLACE THE WINE IN THIS MARATHON.
We believe the prices of these wines offered are far below retail, but please be aware that we found many web retailers offering these wines at similar (and sometimes lower) prices only to find they do not have (or never had) them to sell.
Most of the wines will have a 1 BOTTLE MINIMUM FOR FREE SHIPPING and express shipping is available for an additional $2.75 per bottle if you so choose. Orders CANNOT be combined for free shipping. We will complete shipping of all orders no later than Wednesday, May 15th.
