  • Club Intrawest ROFR decisions....

With all the questions currently about Club Intrawest, I thought it might be interesting to post some recent ROFR decisions I've seen this week..

X= club exercised right of first refusal
W= club waived right of first refusal and sale went through to the buyer

    200 pts @ $12,000- W

    150 pts @ $8,200- X
    480 pts @ $19,033- X

An ebay auction just ended yesterday for a 200 point CI ownership. It sold at the BIN price of $7100. I'm pretty sure that one won't pass.

I never include eBay results in any actual discussion of ROFR numbers or true valuations.. eBay is simply far to unreliable of a venue. You never know if the sale actually happens, or even if the final bidder was actually a true buyer- or simply a shill trying to bid up the item.

For the very savvy- eBay can certainly be an incredible opportunity to score a fantastic bargain. But for a relative novice- it's often a disaster.

        Thanks for the info.

We went to an owners update in Whistler last month and they were saying that they were using ROFR a lot.

Looks like they were not lying

Thanks for all the information, it has been very helpful. I just bought 120 points BIN for $5700 on ebay, submitting paperwork today. Based on the $/pts value listed I am not too hopeful this will go through.

Sorry.. I forgot about this thread.. I'll try to look through and add a few more transactions.

Also, this is a very unusual ROFR process. If I haven't posted the transfer process for this developer already- I'll do so soon and post a link here.
