  • Lots of March Whistler weeks online at Trading Places

Quite a variety of Whistler resorts throughout March.

Since TPI took over management of the former Whiski Jack properties, they are an excellent resource for Whistler properties.

Exchangers should be sure to check out the Whistler properties well before checking in. The older properties are generally quite large, but many of them are located in areas of the Village area where nighttime nose is a HUGE issue. As in, being on the second floor of a property that houses a night club featuring high dB dance music until 2 a.m. Newer properties are often in quieter areas, but are more remote from the lifts and have less square footage. Properties located in the Creekside area (the Creekside and Lake Placid resorts) do not have direct access to Blackcomb Mountain (though that issue is minimized with the opening of the Mountain-to-Mountain gondola. Units at the Westin will get hit with a daily housekeeping charge of about $75/day - ouch!!!

As a general rule, I think the best properties are those that are located in the Upper Village (Woodrun, Snowbird, Aspens). These will be ski-in/ski-out off Blackcomb Mountain, but are sufficiently close the Main Village to access Whistler Mountain without difficulty.
“Maybe you shouldn't dress like that.”

“This is a blouse and skirt. I don't know what you're talking about.”

    “You shouldn't wear that body.”

Trog, thank you for this info, I was wondering how to narrow down the choices if/when by the time I'm planning a trip there is still good inventory available.

I've got a 2 bedroom on hold at Whiski Jack/Creekside. Any insights would be appreciated. I can be the mama mountain shuttle since I don't ski, so ski-in/out is not a must. Noise would be a problem, though.
