  • Pacific Shores 2 bedroom units with a view

I am getting ready to book a 2 bedroom unit at Pacific Shores through RCI Points. I have a choice of several 2 bedrooms configurations, such as 6/6, 6/7, 6/8. The RCI point differences are not great. If I am looking for a great unit with a great view, which unit configuration should I take? Does the configuration have anything to do with location? Thanks. We stayed at Pacific Shores in October in a two bedroom unit. You'll love the resort. As we walked around we attempted to discern where the best views were, but couldn't figure out how to reserve a unit and guarantee the view. Our two bedroom unit was a lower one (they are all two story) and came with a garage. The upper unit didn't have a garage. We had a view of the area that was full of water when the tide was in and virtually empty when the tide was out--I'm sure there's a name for that area, but it's escaping me. Anyway, we loved the unit (the fireplace in the bathroom/master bedroom is fun as are the heated floors), and the resort facilities are really nice. The front desk people were very friendly; why not call them and ask about location and configuration?

When we were there, we found a really exceptional pub called Crow and Gate south of Naimo, on a back road. Even though it seemed like no one could possibly find it, it had a good business--and it's worth the drive, which is a ways. We also enjoyed Cherry Point Winery. We ate a couple of times at The Rockinghorse Pub which is farther down the same road you take to get to Pacific Shores and liked it too, but it was "ordinary," and Crow and Gate is definitely not ordinary.

    You'll have a great time!

      Tim,

I'm working on a couple of assumptions here. One you are booking thru RCI. Two they will assign you a unit number on your confirmation.

Call the Resort and ask them which unit numbers have the views. Then call RCI and have the VG check the unit numbers available.

      It's that easy.
