Sorry I can't be of any help - I've never really travelled to that side of the country I live in.

        Info on Timeshare in Ontario

There are many timeshares in Ontario, especially in the Muskoga's (haliburton) region. If you are into Lakes, beautiful scenery, fishing, etc. it is beautiful. I live approx 3 hours away.
The other region/area is around Lake Huron, lovely long freshwater sand beaches. Collingwood , Ontario has tons of timeshares. This town/becomming a city fast has everything you would need. It is a skiing/snowmobiling haven in winter and lovely cottage/beach/tourist area in summer. Absolutely everything you would need. It is also only 90 minutes north of Toronto where the entertainment is endless.
I own a timeshare in Collingwood, at the Georgian Manor. It is one bedroom condo, floating week, maint fee dues every other year. Red. I still have 32 years on the lease. I found this site because I was looking to sell my timeshare. My daughter was recently diagnosed with an illness which is going to prevent out ability to travel much, so big change in lifestyle. I was on the verge of paying an upfront fee to have a company in Tampa Florida list my timeshare. So glad I found this site.
If anyone out there has any suggestions for me,,,,please pm me anytime.
Also, if you want more info on the Collingwood area regarding timeshares or general info on that area,,,,I would be happy to assist. I live 1 1/2 south of Collingwood.

I stayed in Barrie Ontario at Horse Shoe resorts. I loved it as it was a winter vacation. The Spa there was fantastic with there wraps and price. 2 restaurants are on site. Rooms were up to date.

Thanks to everyone for the info on Ontario. We're going to the Lodge at Horseshoe in Barrie in August 2008, so I'm glad to hear it's a nice place.

Contact Trevor who is one of the Mods in this forum. He does not come by daily unless I point him to a thread. When I was there he gave me my weeks wotrth of Restaurants to eat at. Some I still can not forget about like the Keg , Great Steaks and service here plus others.
