Condorama in Beaupre near quebec city

I have the opportunity to get a 4 bedroom in mid-august or late september of 09. Any comments on units, location, closeness to quebec city, things to do in area etc will be greatly welcome.

We had the same thing come across and weren't sure what to do, but we booked it.

Pulled a few books from the library and it seems that there can be a lot of items to keep you busy for a week in this area all within a day trip.

If anyone has info on the resort, I'd love to see it posted. The reviews are very mixed, but the size of the location makes it very attractive for a family vacation

We we there, Beaupre, Summer 2007, I looked around at most of the surrounding TS for future use but don't remember this one.

Still, I'd would book it simply on location, as you have done.

We went to the "Condorama" this past fall and had a great time. The units are basically townhomes on a street backing towards the ski slopes. The units are very spacious. We had a 4 bedroom TH. I have nothing to complain about. There is free wi-fi in the units. St.Anne de Beaupre has many things to see including the Cathedral, waterfalls etc. It is a very nice area. It is a short drive into Quebec City. No more then 30 minutes right into the historic part of town.

The place is not really called "Condorama". I don't have my stuff in front of me and I can't remember the actual name - but if you have GPS it will get you there. I recommend calling for the exact designation.

We had lousy weather and still had a great time. You are in the mountains and it was beautiful in the Fall. This not a hotel resort with swimming pools and spacious lobbies etc. It is a townhouse community on beautiful treed streets. If you are happy with that format you will be happy there.

If you are planning on going into Quebec, consider parking at the underground garage at the City Hall (Hotel de Ville). The weekend rates were good , during the week they were comparable to other places. We liked it because it was central to the entire historic area.
