    I am a timeshare owner of a studio oceanfront unit (at least prior to Ivan) at Morritts Tortuga Club. Since Ivan destroyed the only oceanfront building that housed the studios, I no longer have the use of the type which I purchased. I have been compensated with the use of a studio poolside unit, but am very concerned as there are no plans at this time to rebuild the proposed "transition" building. I therefore no longer have a unit to sell if I chose to do so.

    I would like to know if there are similar owners as myself out there and what they are doing about the issue. I intend to pay my maintenance fees this year in protest, and will hopefully be compensated with the use of a one bedroom oceanfront unit.

    Any thoughts? Thank you in advance!

    Hi rum and welcome to TS4Ms.

    I own several units at MTC - and there is an owners board that u can visit, register and post on. I am away from home but when I return late this evening, I will post the link to the site.

            I see that the newest member is "jsg" on 12/8/09 - if it did not work, try again - also, check your junk email to see if you have anything there.
