Do you need to rent. taxi's are all over and infact cool looking as well.

I use this company when I'm there: C & C Car Rental: St. John, USVI

The last time I came in late and called to tell them. They left the key with the jeep and I ran down the next morning to do the paper work. Nice folks. They'll meet you at the ferry but if circumstances prevent that they are just 3 blocks up from there.
