Be aware that although traffic in Cayman drives on the left side of the road, rental vehicles can be either right-hand or left-hand drive.

I found it easier to adjust to driving on the left in a right-hand drive vehicle, because having the steering wheel on that side reinforced the difference in driving rules. Sitting behind the wheel of a left-hand drive I would often start driving down the right side of the road out of force of habit.
