Harborside Atlantis

One of the things that almost sold us on Starwood was the ability to go to the Harborside in Atlantis.

Now that I know a little more about exchanges and the timesharing arena, I am wondering if this resort trades exclusively through II?

My reason for asking is that I have not seen it on SFX, DAE, or RCI. My Westgate got me a free II membership but this expires in September of 2012. So, need to determine if it will be worth it then to renew and exchange through II. I realize there is the renting possibly (althought based on what I have seen that could be expensive) or direct trade with a StarWood member as well but looking at all my options.

It does not trade through RCI.
As for SFX, just because you "don't see it," doesn't mean they can't get it. Would depend on whether an owner deposits it.
Most II sightings have been for January, when the weather can be iffy.
Not sure about the others, someone else will hopefully chime in, but your best bet might be to ask the independents directly.

Thanks for the response, and will definately keep that in mind. SFX does not even list in their directory (although they have offered rentals that are not in their directory either).

As for the weather, I do not mind going during an "iffy" period! I would go in January or February or any other time of the year for that matter. Have never been that picky about when I travel, more the where. Although I do realize that will probably after visiting places where there is nothing to do!

On the one or two rental sites I did check for the coming months the rents were not bad, however nothing after that was worth it.

I would rather exchange either directly or otherwise and may consider a Starwood Purchase once I know more about them. I am guessing that either II or a rental will be the only way to get there although will put in a request with the independents as well.
