Costa linda beach resort versus Playa Linda

Which resort is better? Room size, views, activities, etc...

Sirguy, Sirguy, Sirguy!!! I keep suggesting you go to the Aruba websites. It is like comparing apples and oranges. What are you looking for? I love Costa Linda and wouldn't give up my unit for one at Playa Linda but I'll tell you - if I was offered a week I'd take it!!! Playa Linda is in the high rises and Costa Linda is the low rises. You have alot of restaurants all around you at Playa Linda and not so many at Costa Linda. The beach is better at CL but Playa has my most favorite Italian restaurant. Just what are you looking for and I'm sure other owners will weigh in. Linda

Here is what I am thinking:

What type of unit are you trying to compare? Studios/1 br/2 br/3 br....what type of activities are you hoping for? Is your vacation going to include using the kitchen or going out for dinner? Are you wanting to be in the thick of a the island action or hoping to be somewhat removed from it? How many will be with you? Do you prefer walking to convenient locations for dinner shows or such? Or do you plan to rent a car?

As you can see, there are a lot of things to consider.

Do you want to be close to water sports? Are you trading with II or RCI? What time of year are you hoping to be in Aruba? For how long?

If you give us some more info, we will give you as much help as we can.

If it were between Costa Linda and Playa, I would choose Costa Linda....because I like being away from the thick of the casino action. But if I were staying on the island for two or 3 weeks I would consider adding a week at Playa to "spice" it up.

Me personally ~~ Thinks the water is a little rougher at Costa Linda compared to Playa Linda ~~ The water there is much calmer ~~ Plus ~~ There more beautiful women there as well ~~ "JMHO" ~~

Yes, the water is calmer, but the beach can be more crowded....but if you are looking for beautiful women, I guess that works for you...
