How do I get from the Airport to the Marriott Surf Club?


Is it possible to schedule a Taxi ahead of time? Is it needed to do ahead of time?


Is it safe to just look for a taxi when we arrive at the airport?


Is there a company you recommend?

Taxi service on the island is reliable and prices are fixed by the gov't. I believe the charge from the airport to the Marriot are about $18. They can also charge per piece of luggage as well.

Hi Amy,
The Aruba airport is very small - after you pick up your bags you just walk outside and get into a waiting taxi - there is a line that forms outside and to the left.
The ride to the Marriott should be $22-25.

On the other hand, it is VERY easy to drive in Aruba - just a few roads - straight and flat - we always rent a car,,,,,the car rental agencies are across the street (about 50 feet!) from where you exit the terminal.

C)Ask for an insurance certificate of passenger liability
