  • Sint Maarten - comments on Sunterra Flamingo Beach vs Flamingo Beach Villas

In making reservations, Sunterra distinguishes between Flamingo Beach and Flamingo Beach Villas. IIUC, the Villas are Phase II.

Are Flamingo Beach Villas the buildings on the hill, behind the waterfront buildings?

Does anyone have any comments on differences between the two?

What is the status of renovations at the resort? Do the renovations include both phases?

Any other comments on the differences between these would be appreciated.
“Maybe you shouldn't dress like that.”

“This is a blouse and skirt. I don't know what you're talking about.”

    “You shouldn't wear that body.”

I've been in both. I've been in un-renovated FBR and renovated FBR. Both were fine, renovated was nicer and newer.

If I remember correctly, FBV has some units at the bottom of the hill to the right of FBR when looking from sea and some units going up the hill also to the right. Everything I saw was fairly new, can't believe there'd be any renovations there yet.

I'd not want a 'Garden' view FBR I had friends in one for two weeks they were perfectly happy but there is no Garden if you catch my drift, Ocean View would be fine.

FBV are roomier and more of what you expect in a timeshare condo, really nice.
