OK, yes, I want to use a timeshare trade. I will be using SFX (just deposited my week last week - I own at Hacienda del Mar in Cabo, MX). I was just thinking... is it hurricane season during late Oct/Nov in the Caribbean?

St Maarten sounds wonderful... my fiance has been to Aruba, so we were thinking of trying another island so that it can be something new for both of us.. perhaps St Maarten is the way to go ... or Grand Caymen as the next poster suggests...

I saw a couple resorts on St Lucia and Antigua that looked nice on SFX's directory, but was told that these islands are kind of boring... Also, what do you (or anyone ) think about Barbados?

    Thanks again to all!!!!
HATED Antigua....loved Jamiaca. Just my 2 cents.

      Any thoughts on Bermuda, Bahamas?

This is fun!! I just have to get my requests in soon, I suppose
Bermuda is amazing, but not far enough south to be warm in winter. May would be beautiful, but the Ocean may be chilly. Summer is prime time.

A lot of people love Harbourside at Atlantis (a tough trade) on Paradise Island. I can also recommend the Paradise Island Beach Club (used to be Marriott, small beachfront resort a long walk or short drive to Atlantis). Dec thru Feb/March can have iffy weather/temps, it's not as far south as the Caribbean.

I think Paradise Island is a convenient destination for East Coasters since it is pretty close, but I wouldn't choose it over the other places on your list... jmho...

Club la Plage is beachside. The other is across the road but VERY new and I would guess the units are more plush to make up for across the road status.

Not to worry about airport noise there is none in the units.
