NYC to Grand Cayman; Spirit onsale dates, and other discount carriers besides Spirit?

Spirit fares are onsale through 12/19/07. Anyone know when they will post more dates? Also, any other discount carriers to look at for NY to Grand Cayman? My dates (April) aren't available yet through the majors, but the March flights are over $550 with one stop...

Avery....A couple of months ago, I was also looking for flights to Grand Cayman, just out of curiosity. Anyway, I think I found some reasonable flights on Cayman Airways.

Not very systematically, though maybe someone knows a better way to use a calendar counter function. I just note in my calendar about 6 or 7 weeks out, then start checking when the last day I can see is. From there I can get an accurate count. I suppose I could just count 34 days forward in the year from the date I want to book...(365-34 = 331)...

We've managed AA out of JFK non-stop for $450 in March before...but they were wavering in the $600 range when I grabbed those.

Are you telling me it is time to look for my flights already? I just know my Sunday flights are going to be tricky.

Also try US. There are worse things than going thru customs in Charlotte, NC.

How difficult would it be to fly one airline say to Tampa and get your bags transferred to another airline if they weren't checked thru?
