I think if she does not get it in an exchange she will look for a hotel close by. She bought Refundable air tickets so worse case she can cancel.

Well I'll keep looking but it doesn't look good at all...BTW There ARE no hotels close by. The hotels are all on or near 7 mile beach.

So where do you think that inventory is coming from?

If she can afford refundable air tickets, she can afford Travlocity rates. I'll do it for half, up until I book my non-refundable tickets an join the BF clan.

I'm going at Thanksgiving and bought First Class for $932 using points on my credit card scheme, it was ~$500 out of pocket for 4tix. USAir website said coach was sold out but coach was empty, it's just the coach tix were more!!

I didn't know you had a husband or a horse.

$485 is great, take it for whenever. The lowest I could find for Thanksgiving Sun-Sun was like $730ish on Delta, I think. I'm a frequent flyer with USAir so I tried them and that's where First Class for $932 showed up. I checked Orbitz and it gave a $1200ish coach fare and showed totally open flights in coach, but if you tried to book it's then it booked you at $932 in FC.

My CC points paid $825 towards each $932 ticket, so I took it.
