  • Vacation plans changed – anybody want Thanksgiving Week on St. Maarten at Oyster Bay?

I have a 2 bedroom unit booked through II for the Oyster Bay Beach Resort on St. Maarten for November 22-29, 2008 (Thanksgiving Week). My vacation plans have changed and we no longer need this unit. I think I can give this to someone for the exchange fee ($154) plus the guest fee ($39). I would eat the week used to exchange for this resort. If somebody would like it please let me know. Tim

    Tim,

Sorry your plans didn't work out. Very nice, generous offer from you. I hope that someone can use it.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

      Tim,
It may not be too late to redeposit it. I'd give it a try.

Are you kidding?? If you can't redeposit, we'll take it!! There has to be some quid pro quo, what can we do for you? Either way, what a generous offer.

          Janapur -- it is yours!

Beaglemom3, yes, I could have redeposited it, but I don't really need my exchange week back (I have too many to even keep track of) and thought I could help out one of our fello TUGGers or TS4MSers.

ArtsieAng, this was going to be our first trip to the Caribbean. So, I am a bit bummed, but all is well here. I already have a unit reserved for Spring Break 2009 at the Grand Cayman Island. This Thanksgiving (instead of St. Martin) we will be at a big family reunion in California. I need to go to that as my grandma is now 91 and who knows how much longer she will be with us. Life is good. I can't complain.

I feel like I just won on a game show! Thank you so much! Should I pay it forward in your honor?

On a side note, December wrapped up 2007 as one of our worst years ever . . . health wise for family (the baby's hernia on the 20th then mom was diagnosed with breast cancer Christmas eve day), friends, we even had to put our beloved Lab down right after Christmas. Without dishing the boring details, thanks for making 2008 so much better already.

                  Very generous Tim.

Wow, a 91 yo Grandma, hope the reunion is lots of fun.

Jana, sounds like you could do with a break. Enjoy, and may 2008 be a better year for you and your family.

Jana......Glad that 2008 has started on such a positive note for you. I hope only good things come your way from this point forward.

Paying it forward in Tim's name is a great idea.....One good deed deserves another.

Glad to hear that you've got Spring Break already booked. I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time, and you'll have a great time in CA with your family, as well.

Thanks again for being so generous!
