Activities Friends of the Handicapped:
The Board and Members of the Friends of the Handicapped Foundation are back on the island and are very busy organizing activities to collect funds to give back to the Aruban community via various charities. Following are the activities that will be held during the month of February 2008:
• Charity Bingo on Saturday, February 9, 2008 starting at 8:00 p.m. in the Ballroom of Aruba Marriott Hotel. Price per ticket is US$12 and is available as of 5:00 p.m. on the same day in the Ballroom. There will be 10 bingo games and the last game will pay 5000 Aruban florins which is approximately $2,777. There will be also different door prizes
• Sweethearts Dinner Dance on Thursday, February 14, 2008 at the Grand Ballroom of Radisson Hotel starting with a Cocktail Hour (Open bar) at 7:00 p.m. following a sit-down Dinner with Wine and Tico Croes of Crystal Breeze band will provide the musical entertainment during the evening. There will be roses for the ladies and many door prizes.
