  • Bahamas - Harborside Questions

Thanks (huge) to Arlene 22, I am headed to the Harborside for a few days.

I haven't been to the Bahamas since nursing school (just behind Columbus) and have a couple questions.

Duty Free - any good things to bring home ? I always max out on liquour (if a good price) to give as hostess gifts if appropriate.

Cell phone use ? I'm going to call my provider today to see if I can request service while there.

    Any other Harborside suggestions ?

    Thank you,
    Beags

Bahamas is Graycliff headquarters, You can get a great deal on there Cigars.

You won't be getting any deals at the Harbor side for shopping but if you cross over the bridge that should make you happy regarding shopping.

That the better meal plan but if you can do it for a few days less than your stay do that and eat at Gray cliff one night and other restaurants. Still the best places are at the Atlantis, Nobo is great but now they limit the spending on the MP there.

There is no more meal plan at Atlantis anymore. They eliminated it this year. But try to pack some groceries in your suitcase and eat out for the rest. If you want to eat the nicest (see most expensive) restaurants, then try Dune, Nobu, Bahamian Club, Mesa Grill, Cafe Martinique. A little more moderate are Carmines and Bimini Road. Also, there is the Blue Lagoon, which is part of Club Land'or (timeshares next door to Harborside): food is excellent, but the service is sssslllooowww. Very casual (think resin tables/chairs on a dock) and very reasonably priced good seafood at the Green Parrot. Someone OY said that Kerzner bought that whole area, so I'm not sure if it's still there. Ask at the front desk. They will know.

It is not as new as it was and most of us have been there more than once by now. There are other places to see

I placed a comment on your "looking for" ad.. You'll want to rethink your offer amount..
