After it went defunct did someone complete a resort and if so what is it now called ? It was in Belize at Ambergis Cay.

Tony, I remember the discussions on TUG. Not sure if the resort was finished. I also remember us discussing Adam Chandler, the apparrent swindler developer.

I keep seeing Belize from time to time in sightings and it aroused my curiousity, so that may be it, Kay. I made quite a few sarcastic posts OY back when the scam was going on, but still had trouble convincing the victims that their minimal cost to buy the resort would never be enough to build a resort.

Was this the result of our phone conversation the other night concerning the Belarie in Puerto Vallarta and all of their broken promises and that certain clause in their contracts I mentioned to you?

There are a bunch of other grandose promises that were made that seemingly will be finanancally unsound.

There are 4 differant strings. Notice how many are Newbie Postersand their postings.

The claim of being able to avoid income tax posts in those strings if you buy at the Belaire are interesting reading.

I fear for the owners down the road in regards to items in the contract. I saw.

I was thinking about Adam Chandler and the Basil Jones Resort scam today, and I started wondering if anything ever happened here. A Google search doesn't turn up anything.

Right now it would appear that "Adam Chandler" (whoever he might really be, since "Adam Chandler" is probably an assumed identity itself) successfully got away with all of the investor money. I would imagine he's living somewhere with some new identity. If he's dumb I would imagine he's running another scam somewhere under a new identity. If he's smart, I would guess imagine he would have decided to not push his luck any further and is staying on the straight and narrow. Maybe even under his real name!!!
