Info needed about the Albatros Club Resort in DR

Has anyone been to the Albatros Club Resort in Dominican Republic? My son suddenly wants to make a trip in August, and this is the only resort available. He want to be near Santa Domingo to be near his girlfriends family, and this resort is in Juan Dolio which is about 35 miles from Santa Domingo

I will be in Punta Cana in July , I am nor sure if I can find any thing out on the resort when I am there since my resort is on the opposite side of the island.
