Our friends in Aruba have been battling the weather yesterday and the day before, with damage to beaches and some chickees. Hotels have had to close outdoor facilities (pools, restaurants)....but the worst seems to be over for now.

Wow, I recognized the Fishermens Dock right at the Marriott Surf Club and another shot looked as if it was at the oceanfront Casa del Mar units.

Luckily the storm has moved out to sea after passing over STJ ad STT.

Yes, that is Casa Del Mar in the video. I could see my unit! We were supposed to be there this week and decided not to go this year.

Wow! You were lucky! Reports are that some folks were pretty unhappy about how their week was rained on....but it happens so rarely....sort of a surprise how big it was. CDM lost a few chickees from what I heard.
